Summer 2019: Polvita Explores Quy Nhon – Binh Dinh

In the bright sunshine of May, Polvita employees gathered in Hanoi to embark on the company’s annual summer retreat. This year, the team headed to Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal destinations.

The journey began at 9:30 a.m. on May 13, 2019, as the Polvita team traveled from Hanoi to Noi Bai International Airport before flying to Phu Cat Airport. Upon arrival in Binh Dinh, everyone checked into the hotel and began several memorable days of relaxation, exploration, and team bonding.

Discovering the Beauty of Ky Co and Eo Gio

No trip to Binh Dinh would be complete without visiting Ky Co Island. On the second day, the team set out to explore this spectacular coastal destination, enjoying its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters and breathtaking natural scenery.

Nestled between mountains and the sea, Ky Co is famous for its golden sandy beach and remarkably clear turquoise water. The untouched beauty of the island left everyone impressed and provided the perfect setting for swimming, sightseeing and capturing unforgettable moments together.

The day continued with a visit to Eo Gio, another iconic attraction of Quy Nhon. Although the journey was somewhat tiring, everyone returned with smiles, beautiful photographs and cherished memories of a wonderful day spent together.

Team Building – Stronger Together

On the third morning, the entire Polvita team gathered at the beach for one of the highlights of the annual company retreat: a lively team-building session.

As in previous years, everyone participated with great enthusiasm and energy. The games not only brought plenty of laughter and excitement but also strengthened the spirit of teamwork, cooperation and mutual support among colleagues.

For Polvita, these activities are more than simply entertainment. They provide an opportunity for employees to connect beyond the workplace, build stronger relationships and reinforce the sense of unity that lies at the heart of the company culture.

A Glimpse into the Life of Hàn Mặc Tử

After the team-building activities, everyone was free to explore Quy Nhon at their own pace.

Some members of the team enjoyed coffee and took in the atmosphere of the coastal city, while others visited the Hàn Mặc Tử Memorial Site on Thi Nhan Hill, a well-known destination associated with the renowned Vietnamese poet.

The site offers visitors a glimpse into the life and work of Hàn Mặc Tử, whose poetry continues to resonate with generations of Vietnamese readers. Surrounded by verses and memories of the poet, the visit offered a quieter and more reflective experience after the excitement of the previous activities.

Bringing Binh Dinh Home

As the final day approached, the team took the opportunity to purchase local specialties as gifts for family and friends back home.

Among the favorites were chả ram, tré, bánh hồng, bánh ít and local fish cakes — traditional specialties that allowed everyone to bring a small taste of Binh Dinh home with them.

A Memorable Journey, A Stronger Team

On the afternoon of May 16, the Polvita team returned to Phu Cat Airport for the flight back to Hanoi, bringing an end to a memorable summer retreat.

Beyond the beautiful destinations and enjoyable activities, the trip allowed everyone to relax, recharge, and strengthen the bonds between colleagues.

With renewed energy and a stronger sense of togetherness, the Polvita team returned to work ready to continue moving forward and contributing to the company’s growth and long-term mission.
